Year 1 News

Dear Families,

Welcome back to school and welcome to Term 3!

The students have settled back into school really well. They have adapted straight back to their routines and expectations. The first week back we celebrated NAIDOC week and they students participated in a range of activities to celebrate and learn all about Indigenous Australians.

We have a busy term with a few events coming up.

In week 4, we are celebrating Bullying No Way week. Students are invited to wear purple on Friday 15th of August. In week 5, we have Book Week. Students will get the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book character and engage in some fun activities too. We also have our much loved buddy sessions returning and we know the students are looking forward to spending more time with their buddies.

Year 1 Team,

Mandy McEwen, Alysha Guzzardi, Cassandra Walsh, Katherine Rankin, Anna Mitchell, Kim Cunningham and Tracy McMillan
