Welcome to Week 4, Term 3 – Newsletter Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Week 4 of Term 3. It's been an exciting start to the term, and we have another action-packed week ahead of us. Here are some important highlights for the week:
Bullying No Way Week:
This week, we are proudly participating in Bullying No Way Week, a time dedicated to raising awareness about bullying and promoting positive behaviors. All students will be engaging in a variety of activities designed to empower them as Upstanders—those who actively stand up against bullying and support others. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment, and this week gives us a great opportunity to reinforce these values across all grade levels.
Grade 3 Excursion to Cranbourne Gardens:
On Monday, our Grade 3 students will be heading to the Cranbourne Gardens for a hands-on learning experience. This excursion connects directly to our Science and Geography curriculum, allowing students to explore local plant life, ecosystems, and environmental sustainability. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to learn outside the classroom and deepen their understanding of the natural world.
Grade 5 Swimming Program:
Our Grade 5 students will be kicking off their Intensive Swimming Program this week! This program is designed to help students build essential swimming and water safety skills. Whether they are beginners or more experienced swimmers, the program will ensure all students have the skills and confidence they need when around water. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build not just physical skills, but also resilience and self-confidence.
Parent-Teacher Interviews:
A reminder that Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the growth your child has made so far this year, and for us to work together in planning next steps for their continued success. If you haven’t already, please ensure you book a time with your child’s teacher. We look forward to discussing their achievements and areas for further development with you.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to another great week of learning, growth, and community building. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the school.
Warm regards,
Warwick
