Term 1 Week 9

I have had the absolute pleasure today of being in the audience for the final presentations of our students who have been at the school for student leadership for all of Term 1. The 3 hour drive was definitely worth it to see all of the incredible opportunities they have had this term, the leadership and interpersonal skills they have developed and their exciting plan for how they can give back to our community. Congratulations to Felix, Mira, Anna and Claudia and we are looking forward to having you back at FHS next term.
This week I also need to say a huge thank you to all of the people who helped out with our open day and community market on the weekend. Those of you who came along will have experienced the wonderful, warm and welcoming vibe around the school on the day, we had over 100 families come through on the tour with lots of interest and positive messages being shared about the school. Keep an eye out for our next community event in Term 2.
