We have faith every day.
Faith that the bank will release funds when we swipe our card.
Faith that the doctor will diagnose accurately.
Faith in the barista to make our coffee correctly.
When I think of faith, I'm reminded of Hebrews 11:1
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen".
Faith is a deeply rooted sense of trust, hope and inner knowing that everything will work out, even when the path ahead is unclear.
The spiritual meaning of faith is a profound belief or trust in a higher power, or divine presence, which transcends the limitations of human knowledge and understanding.
Faith is seen as a relationship and involves an awareness of and an attunement to God's presence in our everyday experiences.
CS Lewis said:
"If you're a Christian you've come to the conclusion that it's true, that Jesus Christ truly is fully God and fully man; that faith is not an intellectual choice but a surrendering of the heart, choices & actions to this truth"
