Join the School Advisory Council

 

The School Advisory Council is seeking new members and would love to hear from interested parents, guardians and caregivers. It’s a great way to be involved in the school!

 

The Council’s role is to advise the principal on non-curricular matters and support the school leadership team in its decision making processes. In 2024, topics for discussion included:

  1. The adventure playground update project, using money fundraised (construction is taking place in the Term 1 holidays).
  2. Updates to school reports to provide more information on  student progress 
  3. Implementation of a new school newsletter format from a static PDF to a digital format.
  4. And much more…

 

The council would love to hear from people who have skills or interests in marketing the school to attract new students; coordinating information sharing and documentation, and supporting year level representatives.

We meet 1-2 times per term. More information about the Council can be found on the Holy Rosary Website here. 

 

How to get involved

Send an email to hrsac@hrkensington.catholic.edu.au to express your interest. Closing date is Friday 14 March. The first meeting for new members will be on Wednesday 27 March 6.30pm-8.30pm at the school.

Information Night - School Council

 

The School Advisory Council is holding its annual Information Night on Wednesday 5 March, 7-8pm at Hardimans Hotel.  Come along to hear about what the Council does, how you can get involved and have a chat too.
