Wellbeing At McAuley

Welcome to Wellbeing in 2026
Hello families,
Welcome to a brand new school year! My name is Lucy Connor and I’m excited to continue supporting the wellbeing of our students and families in 2026. I work Tuesday to Thursday and a half day on Friday, and I’m here to help students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Throughout the year, a range of wellbeing programs, small group supports, and individual check-ins will be available to help students build confidence, resilience, friendships, and emotional regulation skills. I’ll also be sharing updates as new supports and initiatives roll out across the school.
Our Wellbeing Room will be open every day and available for students who may benefit from passive play, quiet regulation time, or additional social support. This space provides a calm and supportive environment where students can reset and develop positive wellbeing strategies.
If you ever have concerns about your child’s wellbeing, or if there’s something you feel the school should know so we can better support them, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I can be contacted via the school email, and I’m always happy to connect.
Looking forward to a positive and successful year working together to support our wonderful students.
Kind Regards
Lucy Connor
Wellbeing Officer
