Platypus Classroom

Welcome Back!
How wonderful it is to be back to school and settled back into routines. The students have returned refreshed and with a great attitude to school. This week students have been busy brainstorming the important qualities and abilities that are needed to build a great classroom community. The students put admirable effort into writing a procedure for building a classroom community. This is an idea that we will revisit regularly througout the year to ensure that all students feel safe, valued and supported at school.
This week students have completed several assessments in literacy and numeracy. These are to support individualised and point of need teaching which will inform personalised learning goals for Semester 1 Learning and Support Plans. We look forward to discussing this during our upcoming Parent and Teacher interviews in Week 4!
