Principal's Message

Welcome to 2026!
Our school has come back full of positivity and enthusiasm, and we are thrilled to commence the year together.
This year, we warmly welcome Miss Jenine Milgate as our new Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction (APC&I). Jenine brings with her a wealth of experience as an Assistant Principal from rural, regional, and remote schools. We are excited about the valuable contributions she will make to our community.
On Tuesdays, we also welcome Miss Graison Barratt, who will be supporting both staff and students in the office and the classroom. In response to student voice expressing interest in lunchtime clubs, Graison will be leading their introduction each Tuesday during lunch, starting this term with card games.
This week all grades have completed their initial baseline assessments for 2026. These provide a valuable starting point for our teachers to ensure each student’s learning begins at their individual point of need.
Next week, our teaching programs will officially begin, including the resumption of spelling groups alongside our English and Maths units.
We are excited for everything 2026 has in store — big things are coming!
Warm regards,
Principal
