Parent Partnership Panel - 2025 Survey & Updates

Parent Partnership Panel Update – Term 4, 2025

The Term 4 meeting of the Parent Partnership Panel was filled with gratitude, forward planning, and exciting initiatives for 2026. We farewelled Panel members Sheryn and Anthony as their daughters graduate from Mt A in 2025, and thanked John and Julie, who have stepped down due to other commitments. Their contributions have greatly enriched our community, and we are sincerely grateful for the time and energy they have invested in the Parent Panel. We also warmly welcomed Natasha to the team.

It's been a busy and exciting year for the College, and the Parent Panel seeks parent/carer feedback through the below survey.

Initial financial commitments for 2026 were confirmed, including continued support for the International Women’s Day High Tea, the Frank Blanchard Bursary, and Sony Camp. Additional funds were allocated to the College’s 70-year celebrations, staff morale initiatives, and campus improvements aligned with the College’s master plan.

The Panel also discussed the success of the joint Parent Information Evenings with Padua and plans for two speaker events in 2026. Possible topics include raising children in the age of AI, supporting transitions and friendships, and building resilience. Parents are warmly invited to share ideas for future guest speakers via mta@mta.qld.edu.au — your suggestions are always valued.

The Panel remains focused on fostering connection, supporting wellbeing, and strengthening the Mt A community. Social events and community engagement continue to be high priorities. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and creating more great opportunities to connect in 2026.
