Special mention goes to Stella from Year 12, whose outstanding drama performance captivated the audience with her emotive expression and stage presence, adding a powerful theatrical element to the evening. Adding to the excitement, the Pacific Islands Dance Crew delivered a spectacular dance item that brought vibrant energy and cultural richness to the event. Their performance was a highlight of the night, leaving the audience inspired and delighted.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated tech crew who managed the sound and lighting for the event. Their professionalism ensured that Big Night Out XXI ran smoothly, with excellent sound quality and lighting effects that enhanced every performance and created a truly immersive experience for both performers and audience alike.

Big Night Out XXI was a perfect culmination of the semester’s efforts and a wonderful opportunity for students to shine, connect, and celebrate their creative achievements. We congratulate all performers and thank the parents, staff, and community members who supported this memorable evening.

We look forward to seeing our students continue their artistic growth and can’t wait for next year’s Big Night Out!

Year 12 presented their completed Bodies of Work, which were displayed following their return from NESA. These works represent the culmination of two years of exploration, perseverance, and independent artistic thinking.

Year 11 contributed a diverse range of artworks that demonstrate their investigations into Modernist and Postmodernist art practices. Their studies this year encouraged experimentation and critical engagement with the ideas that have shaped contemporary art.

Year 10 showcased their ceramic busts alongside works developed in their Social Commentary unit. These pieces reflect the students' ability to communicate ideas about society and identity through both form and symbolism.

Year 9 exhibited their detailed vanitas drawings as well as lino prints inspired by local architecture. These works highlight the students' growing confidence in both conceptual thinking and technical skill.

Year 8 presented artworks influenced by Pop Art and Street Art, exploring bold imagery, vibrant colour, and contemporary visual culture.

Year 7 shared portraits created in a range of styles and approaches, marking an exciting introduction to high school Visual Arts and the foundations of observational drawing.

A sincere thank you to all staff and students involved in bringing the exhibition together. It remains a highlight of our school calendar, and we look forward to another inspiring year of artmaking in 2026.
