Term 4 PRC Event for parents and carers – Rethinking Bullying Behaviour with Professor Donna Cross

Dear Parents and Carers

Join us for an important and insightful evening with Professor Donna Cross OAM, one of Australia’s most respected researchers in child wellbeing and cyberbullying prevention.

In her presentation, “Rethinking Bullying Behaviour: Strategies to Enhance Children’s Social and Emotional Health and Reduce Bullying", Professor Cross will share the latest evidence-based strategies for preventing and responding to bullying - both in person and online

Drawing on over 30 years of international research, Donna will explore:

  • how bullying and cyberbullying impact children’s mental, physical, and social health
  • the family and school factors that can protect children from harm
  • practical actions parents and carers can take to build empathy, connection, and resilience.

Interactive and down-to-earth, this session will help families strengthen their understanding and confidence in managing these challenges together.
