Bulldogs Read Literacy Program

Our involvement in the 2025 Bulldogs Read Program concluded last week with a celebration day at Russell Square Recreation Facility. 

Students enjoyed taking part in a football clinic, and a shared lunch with peers from other participating schools. 

We wish to congratulate Tilly L who was one of the major prize winners on the day for her efforts and commitment with reading and also her book reviews throughout the year as part of her participation in the program. Well done, Tilly and we are sure that you will put your Collins Books voucher to good use!

2025 has once again been another brilliant year for the Bulldogs Read Program – with over 450 book reviews posted on our Bulldogs Read website from all participating schools, it has definitely been one of the biggest yet, with student engagement at an all-time high.

This has been our school’s third year in the program, and we have been invited to submit an expression of interest to take part again in 2026…fingers crossed that we are selected to be part of this terrific program once again!

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

In a newsletter late last term we congratulated the 20 students who successfully completed the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge.  Those students were presented with their certificates at last Friday’s whole school assembly to acknowledge their dedication and commitment to completing the reading challenge.

2025 School Magazine

We are currently in the production phase of the 2025 school magazine which promises to have many memorable photos and articles that help capture the year that was.

Orders for the magazines will soon be available via the Qkr app. Please keep an eye on Compass as well as the next few issues of the weekly newsletter for more details in the coming weeks.
