School Tours Leadership Initiative

School Tours Newsletter Piece

This term the school tour captains started their Year 6 initiative by taking parents on a tour around the school. They enjoyed representing the school and informing parents about some of the fun facts about St Joseph's. Below are some highlights from the participating students.

Olivia B:  It has been really fun and such a cool thing to do. I especially enjoyed talking about the renovations. It's so awesome to be able to lead people around the school.

Ella D:  I had a great time taking people around the school and showing them all, the amazing atmosphere in each and every classroom!

Cara G:  It has been an amazing experience and such an excited aura when the morning bell rings and we get to start tours. I had a great time showing people around our school and explaining how everything works.

Jasmine G:  It has been so fun taking parents on a tour around the school with my friends, and convincing them that our school is the best in Melbourne!!

Oscar G: This term, I have enjoyed taking people around our amazing school. I will never forget this and I am so pleased I got this opportunity which I highly recommend.

Ned Q:  The day before our first school tour we had a practice run with Mrs Harrison. We had some information sheets to help us before we went on our tours. Overall I think everyone had a blast and did at least 5 to 6 tours.

Will W:  This term, I have enjoyed taking possible future school members around the school and saying great things about this school. I have enjoyed being pat of the school tours team in Term 1.

Hazel W: This term I have really enjoyed showing different families around our beautiful school. To be a school tours leader is a privilege because I love meeting new people and talking about how good our school really is. I hope to leave a legacy and for new families joining our wonderful community of St Joseph's.

Liza:  I had a great time presenting our school to future parents of St Joseph. It was so fun and exciting.

Heidi:  It has been really fun and rewarding to get to represent our school by getting to take parents around. My favourite part of the tours are when we get to pop our heads into the classrooms.
