Year 6 Parliamentary Committee
Topic: Taking Action
Over the past few weeks Year 6 have been busy preparing to hold a Parliamentary hearing with a Committee and three Witness Groups. We were trying to determine what we should, and if we should, change our Acceptable Behaviours Policy for St Joseph's. The hearing was held on the 26th of March. Each classroom invited the Principal, Deputies and our parents to watch our amazing hearing. The Committee sat at the very front and conducted the hearing. It was successful in many ways. Everyone involved had a fun time working together to create the perfect questions, answers and an amazing report. The teachers were very proud of how the Year 6s spoke and researched their topic in detail.
