Siena off to State Finals

Following in the footsteps of last year's winner, Annabelle Hudson, Year 12 student, Siena Grant, winner of the Junior Show Ambassador role for 2024, will represent Beaufort Agricultural Show at the State Finals in Kaniva on the 29th of June. The highly competitive event will host representatives from the 10 regions across the state.

The Beaufort Show Society was thrilled with Annabelle’s win last year and is pleased to have another talented student, with a history of community involvement, qualified for the State Final.

Siena entered the competition at the recent annual dinner for the Midland Group of Agricultural Shows. The group includes Beaufort, Ballarat, Clunes, Kingston, Daylesford and Maldon. After submitting a resume, Siena attended an interview before speaking on stage with the MC.

During the interview, Siena discussed her involvement with the Beaufort Show, community service, her job and schooling, before going on to share her goals for the future, and some general knowledge around current issues and topics.

James Kirkpatrick, President of the Beaufort Show Society, congratulated Siena on her achievement, thanking her family, school and employer. He also emphasised the important role played by the community when encouraging our young people to reach their full potential.
