FANTASTIC RESULTS FOR GRACE YANG IN THE SSV GOLF TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Following up on our story in the last newsletter, we are pleased to announce, Grace’s division won the SSA Golf Championship, 2024 Dean Shakes Girls Stroke Team Bronze medal.

 

From the photos, it looks like the day in Canberra was a huge success all round.  Great weather, team unity and a medal placing at the conclusion.

 

Congratulations to Grace Yang of Year 7 on an outstanding performance.

VOLLEYBALL RECOGNITION FOR MCKINNON STUDENTS

Congratulations to Charli Guss of Year 12 who was awarded MVP for the Women’s State League, Division 1 and to Braden Fischer of Year 9 who was awarded MVP for the Men’s State League Division 3. Quite an achievement for a Year 9 student.

 

Braden is also in the top State team for a third year in a row, competing in Bendigo in a couple of weeks and is captain of that team for the second year in a row.

 

Two McKinnon students who are making their presence known on the volleyball circuit, representing Victoria.

HARLEY KARRO REPRESENTS AUSTRALIA IN 2025

Harley Karro of Year 10 has recently been selected to represent Australia in the 2025 Maccabiah Games, which are held in Israel. She will be participating in the under 18s female soccer tournament during July of next year.

 

Maccabiah is the third largest sporting event in the world in terms of number of competitors, behind the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.
