PERFORMING ARTS
Our major focus this last fortnight has been the Winter Concert which was an amazing success. Held at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University on Wednesday 28 August, the students’ preparation and performance was absolutely magnificent.
Thank you to our fantastic ensemble directors who prepared the students so they could be showcased in such a brilliant fashion. Thank you to all those parents who attended the evening, and to those who supported us by ensuring that their children were dropped off and picked up at the correct times.
Thank you to the staff outside of the Performing Arts faculty, who took the time to be with us for the evening to ensure that the night was a great success. Thank you to the Performing Arts teaching staff who assisted across the day and night to make the performance an outstanding success.
In particular, I would like to thank Clare Bugeja and Karen Nansen for their attention to detail in preparation for this event. Thank you also to our Stage Managers Ellie Adler, Lucy Angell and logistics manager James Davine, without their overall effort and attention to detail, this night would not have been possible. Thank you to Zoe Bartholomeusz, Andrew Krause, Thomas Broadbent and Marcus Read who ensured that the program was written, published and that the night was recorded both in photographs and in video format.
