This fortnight in grades 1-6, students developed skills and played modified games in cricket. It was great to see the persistence and growth in throwing, catching, batting, and bowling skills.
Foundation students have continued to work through a variety of exercises and activities that improve hand-eye coordination and develop fundamental movement and coordination skills. Last week they had balance beams, exercise balls, agility ladders and lots of other fun things in their circuit.
National Ride2School Day this Friday
This Friday the 22nd of March is National Ride2School Day. Ride, scoot, skate, walk or run to school if you can! This day is all about being active and getting moving. I will be set up in front of the sports room to hand out stickers and collect a tally of how many students participate in the day. Students will also get a raffle ticket to go into a raffle to win some trampoline socks!
Cross Country 2024 Save The Date!
Our Cross Country this year will be happening on Friday 3rd of May at beautiful Cussens Park from 9.30~11.15. Permission forms will be sent out before the end of term via PAM with more details. I’m sure this will be a fantastic day with lots of Personal Bests.
Regional Swimming
A huge effort by Ethan who placed 2nd in the 50m Butterfly at the recent Hume Regional Swimming Meet in Shepparton. Ethan recorded a new Personal Best! Well done!
Good Sports Award Trophy
The winner of the week 7 Good Sports Award Trophy was Charlie R. Charlie always participates in sports fairly and respectfully. He puts in his best effort in all games and activities. Well done Charlie!
