RE NEWS

By Fulvia Gerosolimo

To all our families,

Sunday marked our sixth Sunday of Lent. Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is a significant day in the Christian calendar. It marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent, which

leads up to Easter Sunday. On Palm Sunday, Christians commemorate Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where he was welcomed by crowds waving

palm branches and hailed as a king.

Palm Sunday is a time for us to reflect on the humility and majesty of Jesus Christ. It

is time for reconciliation with others. To reflect on any conflicts or grievances and

seek forgiveness where needed. To extend forgiveness to others as well, following

Jesus' example of love and reconciliation.

Easter is a time of great joy and celebration for many, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope and renewal it brings to believers.

Attending Church services or mass is a time for reflection, gratitude, and rejoicing in the promise of new life and redemption.

I hope you and your loved ones have a blessed Easter filled with joy, peace, and love. May it be a time of spiritual renewal and deepening of faith for all who celebrate.

Every blessing for the holidays,

Fulvia Gerosolimo

Sacrament of Baptism

On Sunday 17th March we welcomed Irene, Ellie, Phoenix, Austin and Xarias into God's family through the Sacrament of Baptism. Baptism is a significant milestone in the life of a Christian, symbolising the cleansing of sin, rebirth into new life, and incorporation into the body of Christ.

As these children received the sacrament of Baptism, they were initiated into the Christian faith and embraced by the love and grace of God. It marked the beginning of their spiritual journey, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and nurtured by their faith community.

Let us continue to surround these children and their families with prayers, love, and support as they continue to grow in their faith journey.

Congratulations!
