Colour Run

On Thursday, 28th March, the McClelland College Interact Club farewelled Term One in the most exhilarating way possible by hosting a Colour Run, which took place on the school oval.  Inspired by the tragic passing of local politician Peta Murphy, the Colour Run raised both money and awareness for the Peta Murphy Breast Imaging Suite at Frankston Hospital.  The day involved students navigating an obstacle course around the oval while dodging sprays of coloured dust thrown by an army of volunteers.  To conclude the event, every participant was automatically enrolled in an Easter Raffle, with a number of eggs donated as prizes.

With over 200 students participating in the event, the day was a resounding success, with over $3000 raised for the hospital, which members of the Breast Imaging Suite from Frankston Hospital graciously accepted.  Well done to all members of the Interact Club for their tireless work in preparing for and promoting the event!  We look forward to seeing what other amazing projects are in store for the school community for the remainder of the year!
