ELC Excursion

On Wednesday the 20th of March our international students had the opportunity to take part in an excursion to the city. The event was fantastic as we were blessed with nice sunshine and a very relaxing day of sightseeing. Arriving in Melbourne, we were first off to see the Victorian State Library. Many students had never been before and were amazed by the reading room. Students were able to see the beautiful architecture and art pieces around the library. After some time exploring the various halls of the library, we ventured to Little Bourke Street for lunch at Melbourne’s Chinatown.

Many of the students commented on how different Asian food is in Australia compared to their home country, but they enjoyed it anyway. Following our brief break we continued on to Parliament House for some photo opportunities and finally made our way to Federation Square. At the tail end of our excursion students took the opportunity to see the ACMI exhibition and explore the beautiful scenes around the Yarra River. Well done everyone for making the excursion so much fun.
