Come and join the monthly PFA meeting!

Wednesday 20th March

Community Room

At 7pm

All parents / carers are welcome we would love to see you there.

The P&F are hosting a COLOUR EXPLOSION RUN4FUN  on Thursday 28 March.

How does it work? Following the Cross Country Run at school, the Colour Explosion Run will be held on the school oval. Students will run a short course and P&F Volunteers will spray the students with coloured powder. The idea is to have fun and get messy!!

Students will receive a pair of sunnies to protect their eyes. The colour powder used in the event is made of high quality corn starch and permitted food colours. It’s non-toxic, biodegradable, skin safe and environmentally friendly. The ingredient listings can be obtained from the School Office. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate.

What to wear? Students are required to wear a shirt in their house colours. To maximise the effect of the colour powder, we suggest wearing a light coloured top in blue (Teresa), red (Bosco), yellow (MacKillop) or green (Patrick). The coloured powder will likely wash out of your child’s clothing, however we recommend that your child wears clothing that you don’t mind being coloured – just in case!

So far only 162 students have registered online for the Colour Explosion - that's less than 50% of our school. Come on SFS we can do better than that! The PFA want everyone to register and get involved - so the Home group with the highest percentage of students registered by Colour Explosion Day will win a delicious treat for the whole class and their teacher!!

So far MA is leading with 78% of students registered - amazing effort!!

To date SFS families have raised……….

$8,600.00

Wahoo! Keep those donations coming in!

SLIME IS BACK!

Slime is back for the 2024 Colour Explosion,

We’re doing things a little differently this year,

Teachers are still getting slimed, but NO MORE protective clothing, they’ll be wearing everyday clothes, while you’ll be using buckets instead of guns!

For your chance to slime the teachers, just make sure to be one of the TOP 20 fundraisers on the morning of the Colour Explosion.

Currently, our top 20 fundraisers have raised between $120 -$570. With 2 two weeks to go before sliming, the opportunity to slime the teachers is within everyone’s reach! Let’s get sliming!
