Art Auction

Jane Eckett

The Winter Magic Market Art Auction was a great success. Thank you so much to all those who made and donated works and to all those who bid and bought. We're happy to announce we sold $6,618 worth of art on Saturday. Wow!

If you were successful with your bids, but haven't yet paid for and collected your purchases, you can do so from the front office during school hours. This week, that will be from Wednesday to Friday owing to the student-free day on Monday and student-led conferences on Tuesday.

Any auction works that didn't sell on Saturday (23 works total) can be purchased at the reserve through the website: https://airauctioneer.com/bnwps2023

Simply click on 'Buy-it-now' (you need to register for an account beforehand, if you haven't already done so). There are still some gorgeous works available, so please do check them out.

There's also a second chance to buy any unsold student artworks this Wednesday, 16 August, from the art room between 3:30 and 4 pm.

Finally, many thanks to all those wonderful people who helped put the art auction together, particular BNWPS's own Kate McCormack, who steered the gorgeous student projects (apparently effortlessly!) and helped hang, sell, and wrap / pack up; art auction stalwart Simon Gibbons; as well as Matthew Champion, Katharina Guichard-Weiss, Diana Krause, Corrine Leita, Jaq Tate, Maira Walsh, and Cornel Wilczek (please forgive me if anyone has been missed).
