Book Week

On Wednesday 23rd August, the school was buzzing with enthusiasm as students, teachers, and staff paraded their costumes in the Gym.  Everyone showed up with creative and fun costumes, making the morning incredibly entertaining.

Indonesian Day

On Friday the 25th of August, Trafalgar Primary School hosted Baguskan for our annual Indonesian Cultural Day.  It was a fantastic day celebrating different aspects of Indonesia’s rich and vibrant culture!

Students in Years 3-6 participated in workshops run by Aaron and Nina, learning about Indonesian gamelan (percussion orchestra) and traditional dance. Students in Foundation-Year 2 watched a Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet) performance and participated in becak rides around the school yard!

At the end of the day, all students who participated in workshops had an opportunity to perform either dance or gamelan in front of their peers, in a final performance retelling a traditional Indonesian cultural story.

Terima kasih banyak, Aaron and Nita for all your hard work in running such a fantastic event for our school!!
