Kitchen Garden - 

3/4S had an udderly brilliant time in the Kitchen, last Friday, cooking up a dairylicious feast with Saputo Dairy Australia.

 

Saputo are Foundation Partners of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program and they generously provided us with all of the dairy products needed for the menu; Sungold Milk, Devondale Thickened Cream, Cream Cheese and Butter, Mil Lel Parmesan Cheese, Cheer Tasty Cheese and South Cape Feta.

 These ingredients paired with fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden combined to create a delicious menu. 

Kristyn, Sharon, Tanya and Nathan, from Saputo, worked alongside parent helpers Jodie, Sarah and Ciarra and Miss Smith and Allesha to help small groups of students create parts of the menu.  

                                                               We made and cooked;

                                                    Lavosh Crisp-bread with Tzatziki Dip.

Cauliflower and Broccoli Carbonara with Homemade Fettuccini Pasta and Salad of the Imagination. 

                                      Pumpkin Spiced Muffins with Cream Cheese Icing.

Everyone worked together to make the session a great success.
