DIGITAL WELLBEING
Last Friday was the National Day of Action Against Cyberbulling and Violence Online.
Our 5/6 students participated in an incursion provided by the eSafety Commisioner. These separate sessions were aimed at helping students learn about the impact their words and actions online can have on other people.
Here is some of the students feedback:
We learnt that if you are having trouble with friends online you need to tell your parents or go to the e-safety website and tell them your problems. They will give you advice on how to fix the problem. We also discussed who we trust and who we would go to if we had a problem. - Mikki.
On the webinar they gave us different scenarios that we hadto problem solve. They also taught us about two strategies you can do if you get bullied online.
1. You can block the person
1. You can stay off the game from about a week to give yourself a break.
- Seb
