Fete de la Primavera

Save the date for our Fete de la Primavera - Saturday, November 9! It’s less than 3 months away, so definitely time to pop in the family calendar if you haven’t already.

In the spirit of keeping our community up to date here’s a brief rundown of what the fete committee have been working on behind the scenes:

• We have amazing stalls lined up, including great food, second-hand clothes & books, plants, crafts and others, but always open to hearing from anyone in our community who would like to run a stall.
• The live music acts will be off the charts this year!! The bill is full, so come on down and get rockin’
• Kids activities are going to be an absolute blast! Wristbands will be available for pre-purchase before the day.
• And! Wait for it… We are hoping to have a bar this year! A fundraising bar of course, but we also feel will be a nice addition whilst having your lunch and watching a band.
• However, as per usual we always need extra help. Here are the most pressing things…

BAR VOLUNTEERS

As this is our first year running the bar we want to ensure we have a good amount of bar staff to run it so we can keep the drinks flowing (in a responsible way). If you are keen to work at the bar let us know! You do need an RSA, but if you don’t have one already we can advise on how to get one.

ADDITIONAL STALLS

Call out for anyone in our community who would like to run a stall! It could be anything from food, crafts, 2nd hand goods or kids' activities. As mentioned we have a good selection already, but it may become a hot property in future, so if you’ve been tossing it up, now is the time to do it!

There will also be an opportunity to sign up and do a shift on an existing stall on the day, so if you think you have no time to spare then this is for you. Links to sign up for stalls will come in the first week of term 4.
