Week 4 & 5 ✨
Prep and Grades 1 and 1/2 have spent their P.E lessons learning a little bit about the purpose of mindfulness and yoga, aimed to support their brains and bodies during the two busy weeks at swimming. They’ve learned that mindfulness calms the mind, and yoga teaches us balance, strength, and flexibility that are useful for many sports we love!
Grades 3/4 have continued their Rogaining unit with is finishing up next week with a fun and creative activity and peer assessment task.
Grades 5/6 have continued their Ultimate Frisbee unit in which they have formed their own teams, each with specific roles and responsibilities. They are also learning a little bit about golf while practising their swings and working on their precision.
