Literacy

This term, our Year 3/4 students have been deeply engaged in developing their comprehension skills through a variety of focused reading strategies. In writing, we are wrapping up our six-week writing cycle, where students have shown tremendous growth. They are now in the final stages of publishing their persuasive texts and are channelling their creativity into designing eye-catching advertisements to captivate their intended audiences.

Mathematics

In Maths, we delved into the concepts of division and fractions. Our students have been diligently practising their times tables, which they then applied to solve division problems with confidence. They also learnt to add and subtract fractions with different denominators, further developing their mathematical fluency.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Book Week

It was heartwarming to see our Year 3/4 students dressed up as their favourite book characters. A big thank you to the parents for their creativity and effort in organizing such fantastic costumes—it truly added to the joy of the event.

Inter-School Athletics

Nine of our Year 4 students had the opportunity to participate in the district athletics competition. This was a truly enriching experience, allowing them to showcase their talents and sportsmanship while competing against students from other schools.
