Volleyball  

Our Senior Boys, Girls, Intermediate Girls and Year 8 Girls teams had an awesome tournament last Tuesday 25th March, winning all but 1 of their matches. The teams had been training weekly for some time now, with Mr Keane helping them hone their skills and give themselves a good chance of proceeding through to the next level of competition. With all but the Intermediate Girls team progressing, we are very pleased at the comradery and enthusiasm that our teams played with and wish them the very best at Gippsland level next term.

Tennis 

It was great to have the College tennis team up and playing again with 3 teams competing last Tuesday 25th March. Fifteen of our students had an enjoyable hit out against Nagle College in overcast conditions, slicing and volleying around the courts in very enthusiastic fashion. Not having any of our teams progress further was insignificant, compared to the fun and comradery that was had competing on the day.

School Cross Country

Held down at the Mitchell River walking track Picnic Point on Wednesday 2nd April, 46 runners pushed themselves to their limits in the 3km and 5km Cross Country distances in glorious sunshine and next to no wind. With the entire group starting together, the pace was quick from start to finish for most and stringing out the rest of the field, which was to be expected. Several passerbys commented on how lovely it was to see the kids doing exercise in such a nice environment such as the river walking track - we agree!

To be expected, there was plenty of puffed and tired bodies at the end of the race, but more smiling faces than not was a win in our eyes. As for the results, please find them below and congratulations to those who made through to district level which will be held on Monday 26th May.
