On March 21st we celebrated Harmony Day as a whole school. Harmony Day celebrates cultural diversity, respect, and inclusion for all. Students were able to dress in clothing and accessories that represented their identity. We shared why we chose the items we wore and talked about the fact that even though we are all unique, we also all belong!
Aaron, Renold, Kevin, Sebastian and Nohan demonstrated terrific teamwork, while they dug an enormous hole and created a huge mountain in the sandpit. We often talk about the importance of teamwork within our class, and it was great to see the boys take this teamwork into the playground.
Congratulations to our class heroes for filling their HERO award charts. Fantastic effort!
Thank you for sharing with our class last week Kevin. We enjoyed hearing about your interesting time living in Ireland, and the special Mother's Day celebration you had there.
It was great learning more about you this week, Harper. It was encouraging to see you share your passion for art and crafts, showing us your special sticker box. We also enjoyed hearing about your family's trip to the Melbourne Aquarium, and the fish, sharks and penguins that you got to see there.
We wish the following students a wonderful birthday celebration over the holidays:
9th April - Divine
9th April - Reuben
12th April - Aaron
