Work Experience Placements for Year 10 Students
Our Year 10 students are keen to get some work experience in a range of fields and industries as part of their Career Development program.
We would love to hear from members of our community who might be able to host a Year 10 student this year for some Work Experience (August 4 to August 8, 2025).
If you are able to support this valuable program, please email Trish Menadue or Pete Gibson
Studiosity Online Learning Support
Studiosity is a free online service available to all Senior School students to support your learning.
Student access Studiosity using their school Google username and password via the link on the SEQTA Learn splash page.
Studiosity is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Studiosity offers two main services:
1. Get writing and referencing feedback in just hours
"Here's my file, I'll check back later." For when you've been looking at your draft for too long; for when you want referencing feedback that doesn't come at the last second. Get feedback on your work before assessment to improve your grades.
2. Get one-to-one, online study help
"I need help this second!" It's 24/7 help with all the core skills you need to succeed. You will be put in touch with a subject expert to talk in real time. You can talk with the tutor, upload documents and draw diagrams to work through your issue.
Speak with your tutor or teachers to find out more or to request assistance.
Share the Dignity School Fundraiser
Senior School student Amelia Cooper (Year 11) and the Stewardship Committee will be holding a fundraiser on Friday 9 May, where students can dress in pink (with a gold coin donation), as well as buy from a pink-themed bake sale.
Students wanting to contribute to the bake sale can sign up next term through a link on Seqta Notices.
During the month of May there will also be a collection box at the Senior School Office where students and parents can donate period/feminine hygiene products.
All donations will directly support women fleeing domestic violence, in homelessness, or in extreme poverty through Share the Dignity.
Years 7-12 Cross Country Carnival | Wednesday 30 April - Bell Street Sports Grounds
The Years 7-12 Cross Country Carnival will be held on Wednesday 30 April. All students are strongly encouraged to participate in the upcoming Cross Country event.
Students may wear Sports uniform to School and will also need to come prepared for all weather conditions.
Year 9/10 students will finish their P.4 class at 12.30pm and walk to Bell Street via the route listed in red. Please follow staff instructions and be very careful when crossing the roads.
Year 11/12 students will finish their P.4 class at 1:00pm and either walk or drive their own car to Bell Street. Year 11/12 students wishing to drive their own car to Bell Street must have signed permission; so too must students wishing to be taken to Bell Street by other students. In each case permission must be submitted to the Senior School Office by the recess on Wednesday 1 May. Parking is available either in the car park beside Runnymede OR on Queens Walk. Students are not permitted to access the driveway into the Main Oval.
