Dear St Finbar's family,

What a start to the year - we have almost made it through Term 1!

Our reps have all worked so hard to create environments for friendships to thrive whilst raising funds for the school at the same time.

Term 1 Wrap up / updates:

Colour Run - we are sitting at $13,000. The prize portal opens tomorrow and if you raised money on your profile please go and select your prizes. The cut off is Thursday April 24th.

Showdown - We raised approximately $6,000. Massive thank you to the Grade 5 reps who worked tirelessly to make this happen.

Mother’s Day breakfast - Ordering is open via CDF pay and closes off Friday 2nd of May (flyer below)

Mother’s Day lunch - Tickets go on sale next Monday (7th April) at 7am - set your alarm! (Flyer with details below)

Dad’s Footy - SAVE THE DATE: Sat 6th September

Calling all St Finbars Dads… we need you! 👇🏉🏟️

If you have a competitive spirit then this is for you. The annual Dads AFL football game is upon us and training will begin the first week back in Term 2.

The game is tentatively booked for the day before Fathers Day (Sat, 6th September) and we have some ground to make up from a narrow loss last year to St Joan of Arc.

Even if you’re not planning to play the game, get along to training. It’s a fantastic way to get fit, meet other dads from the school and get the kids out of the house to meet some friends too (the mums will thank you!)

Timing: Sundays, 4-5pm each week

Date: starting from Sunday, 27th April

Location: provided in the WhatsApp group below each week - generally Dendy Park or local football fields)

This request to share this group also came from the St Finbar's Mum’s so get yourself and your kids out the door on Sunday afternoons for a runaround and to meet the other dads at the school. And mum’s, if you have a closet AFL enthusiast partner that you would love to kick out the door with the kids on Sunday afternoons, please get in their ear to come along.
