Dear Families,
School Council
This week the 2025 school council school council met for the first time. There was a lot on the agenda, welcoming new members, appointment of office bearers, and the allocation of subcommittees.
I am pleased to announce the below appointment of office bearers:
President - Jason Holandsjo
Vice President - Sarah Glasson
Treasurer - Damian Wood
I also had the pleasure of presenting the 2025 Annual Implementation Plan to the council, highlighting key work for the year. While the 2024 Annual Report was also tabled for discussion. This report will be distributed to the school community and will be tabled for the school’s AGM.
As a council we are very excited for what the year has ahead, in particular the 2025 Seaside Fair to be held on Sunday 23rd November.
Please find a more detailed council report on the school council news page.

The parade which will be held on the front basketball court at approximately 9:15am is a community event and we would encourage all families to attend. So get your raffle tickets in and come and join us for the fun.
We are even expecting a special guest to be in attendance.
Reminders
School Parking
Recently there have been a lot of cars parking in our driveways, which are signed ‘keep clear’ areas. It is essential that these driveways are kept clear at all times and we are asking all school community members to be mindful of where and how they park. Of note road bollards have been placed in these areas to restrict unauthorised parking.
Parking concerns also include double parking behind parked cars and near the school crossings at both drop off and pick up times. Recently we have had some very close calls with students exiting or entering these vehicles. Road safety around the school is the responsibility of everyone and we are asking for your support on this matter.
If you do observe unsafe parking or driving on the roads around the school please contact myself or the school office.
Thank you for your support on this matter
Warm regards,
Mat
