Lightning Premiership 

On Monday 31st March our Year 5 & 6 students participated in the Murdoch District summer sport lightning premiership. Games consisted of Softball, Rounders and 

Kanga 8's (cricket). 

The students had trained on a weekly basis throughout Term 1. Our softball team travelled to Robinsons Park and the rounders and cricket teams to Ballam Park. 

The students participated with enthusiasm and a positive attitude to compete against the schools from our district. Whilst we did have a couple of wins across the day, we didn't manage to bring home any trophies. 

It was an incredible experience for the students and I’m sure they enjoyed the opportunity to put their skills on display. 

A massive thank you goes to Ms Louchery, Ms Evans, Mr Shute, Ms Emmi & Ms Izzy for coaching, supervising and helping out on the day. 

Baxter students are such a delight to take out on these special days. They always shine and receive praise from other schools. It makes us very proud indeed.
