Year 3-6 Beach Day

Mills Beach Mornington

Year 3-6 students enjoyed Mills Beach with the Mornington Life Saving Club on

Tuesday 25th March.

What a brilliant day it was! It was so nice to have the sun shining and the water so clean.

The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves, participating in activities both on land and in the water. A range of activities were on offer - boards, rescues, wade & swim were run by the lifesavers and beach walks, flags and sand sculpting were run by the Year 3-6 staff.

The lifesavers were full of praise, impressed by student behaviour, how interested the students were in learning about water safety and the level of participation!

Everything ran very smoothly & I am forever grateful for the way our staff all pitch in and make things happen for the students of Baxter PS.

A huge thank you goes to Baxter Woolworths for donating our sunscreen and lunch of a sausages in bread with a fruit box drink.

A big thanks to Mr Schneider & Mrs Bremner for coming along to cook the BBQ, on the day. It was so great to have them on board.

Thank you to Ms Emmi & Luke for your assistance with student supervision, taking photos and keeping the kids enthusiastic and engaged.

A big thank you to everyone again - From Mrs Baxter
