Prep - Year 2 Primary Athletics

A BIG thankyou to our PE Teachers for organsing an amazing morning for our first Prep - Year 2 Athletics day on Friday 20th October.  

The day ran smoothly thanks to the help of Year 10 students and volunteers. 

Year 6 Treetops Adventure: A Day to Remember

On October 19th, Year 6 embarked on an extraordinary journey, scaling a steep hill near Puffing Billy to delve into the enchanting world of the Belgrave Treetop canopy. As we marvelled at our bird's-eye view, we were reminded of the profound beauty of our Earth.Our expedition led us across lofty, creaky wooden bridges and sent us zipping over glistening creeks and lush fern-filled forests. 

Along the way, we tested our determination, pushing the boundaries of endurance and resilience, and even discovering some dormant muscles we never knew we had.What made this adventure truly remarkable was the unwavering support we provided one another. Stepping out of our comfort zones, we embraced the challenge with positive mindsets, proving that we possess the capacity to overcome any obstacle life may throw our way.The heart-pounding excitement of soaring through the treetops brought smiles to our faces, and the giant drop provided a rush of exhilaration. 

This experience is one that will forever be etched in our memories, reminding us that together we are capable of achieving the extraordinary.

Library News

Our Library learning resource space has recently undertaken an amazing transformation with theimplementation of the Oliver V5 library management system. This upgrade enables us to effortlesslyconsolidate a wide range of resources into a single, user-friendly platform, incorporating WheelerseBooks, Clickview, and Britannica School. 

This enhancement promises increased efficiency, streamlining the way we access and utilise our valuable digital and non-digital resources. Tocelebrate this change, we have also reorganised our Primary Library

space.

As we look ahead to 2024, we are thrilled to introduce the LearnPath component of thiscomprehensive package. LearnPath empowers us to curate digital resources tailored to specificlearning areas for our students from Prep to Grade 12. 

This transition to Oliver V5 is super exciting,as it promises to revolutionise the way we support our Lakeside College learning community.
