St Simon Twilight House Sports Carnival

What a fantastic afternoon and atmosphere on our school oval last Thursday for our Twilight House Sports Carnival. There was a real buzz through each house with loud chants, drumming and cheering for their fellow house companions. Well done to our House Captains for leading them in their cheering throughout the carnival! All students gave their very best; keeping concentration at the egg and spoon race and showing team work in caterpillar run, tunnel ball and shuttle relay. A highlight was the array of colour and dress up from our students to represent their house colour. It definitely livened up the event!  

Congratulations to Red House who are winners of the 2023 House Sports Carnival! 

The points for each house are as follows:

1st place - Red House : 388 points

2nd place - Green House : 365 points

3rd place - Blue House : 363 points

4th place - Yellow House : 214 points

The House Spirit award is awarded to the House that shows great cheering spirit at the carnival. After careful consideration by our judging staff members, the House Spirit Award goes to BLUE HOUSE! Well done Blue House!

Finally, THANK YOU to all parents/guardians and friends of St Simon for participating in our carnival community event. We hope you enjoyed the experience along with your child/ren. Thank you to all staff for preparing and building up the excitement of the carnival!
