Grade 5

This term Grade 5 have been learning about poetry. We’ve learnt about features of poems such as rhyme, syllables, personification, similes, emotions, metaphors, etc. We wrote 6 styles of poetry and put them into a little booklet.

You’re the most amazing sport!

Grass is a soft as clouds

To Richmond fans, Dustin Martin is GOLD.

My heart smiles with every goal we kick.

AFL makes me smile.

Oh how I love AFL.

Limerick - That Silly Old Wart

Ricky really liked to play sport

But he couldn’t because of an old wart.

His friends were having fun all outside,

He wished he could come along for the ride.
