Year 4 Students Discover the Power of Mindfulness
Over the past five weeks, our Year 4 students have been immersed in a transformative mindfulness program designed to enhance their well-being and equip them with practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. This has been facilitated by the wonderful Fiona.
Through engaging sessions, students explored techniques such as deep breathing, visualization, and focusing on the present moment. These activities not only taught them how to manage stress but also helped create a calming and supportive environment within the classroom.
The impact has been remarkable. Our students have shared how they feel more focused and relaxed, even during busy or stressful times. We, as teachers have observed a noticeable improvement in classroom dynamics, with students demonstrating greater patience, resilience, and empathy toward one another.
