A Visit to the Principal

The Koalas have been learning about different jobs. Part of this learning included a special visit to the Principal’s office. There were lots of gasps and excitement as they entered Mrs Dempsey’s office and discovered all the fiddle toys she had placed around the room. The children sat in the adult chairs and asked Mrs Dempsey the questions they had prepared. Some of the questions were:

“What kind of car do you drive?” – Joel

“Do you live at school?” – Ahmaya

“Does a Principal get a walkie-talkie?” – Jack

“How many grades are there?” – Ada

“How much money do you get?” – Henry

Mrs Dempsey answered all their questions with good humour, then read the children a story. Before heading home, the children were elated to receive a certificate that included Mrs Dempsey's 'autograph'.
