Prep Athletics

Last Friday was the Prep's big moment to participate in a mini-athletics carnival here at school. Students competed in the underarm bean bag throw, the overarm vortex throw, the stand and jump, and a sprint across the oval at the end of the carnival. 

The Prep students have been practicing for many weeks, and the hard work definitely paid off. They handled the occasion brilliantly and showed off their athleticism to the adoring parent crowd. 

We had an intermission before the race with a parent vortex throw which was a tight contest and proved to be a highly competitive event. Hopefully, the physio bills won't be too high!

We look forward to our current Prep students joining us at the big event next year at Morrison's Reserve.
