One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is, seeing students learn to believe in themselves, and attempt to do something, which they haven’t done before, or doubt that they have the ability to be able to. 

The Art room provides such a special setting for our students to be able to challenge themselves and develop their sense of identity and self-confidence. From our junior students transforming a rectangle piece of paper, into a square, then into a triangle, which they then created into a colourful butterfly, to our middle school students who are developing their understanding of Mother Nature and the destruction she can cause, to our senior students, who are working so hard on sketching portraits for the upcoming Grade 6 graduation, we have been so fortunate to see first-hand, those precious moments, when our students feel that incredible sense of pride, when they see their ideas and efforts all come together to create their very own masterpiece!
