Grade 1 & 2
Term 4, Week 10
Can you believe that we are at the end of Term 4 already! As a 1/2 team, we are so incredibly proud of the progress and achievements all of our students have made not only this term but this year! It has been a massive year filled with rich learning and fun experiences along the way, starting with our self portraits all the way back in Term 1 to our History unit this term.
Engagement in our Integrated unit this term has been excellent and 1/2 students have loved learning about how things have changed over time, the past and present and creating stop motion movies showing change. We are looking forward to our upcoming excursion to Puffing Billy, a lovely and fun way to wrap up the term’s learning.
In addition, to celebrate all of their learning this term, 1/2 students have been working consistently this year to develop their writing pieces and they are looking forward to bringing their finished Writer’s Gift’s home in the coming weeks.
We thank all of you for your support in our programs this year, regular communication, attendance at expo afternoons, parent helpers and all the friendly chats along the way too! As a 1/2 team, we have loved working with all of you and your children this year.

- Wednesday 11th December - final “meet the teacher” Step Up
- Wednesday 11th December - class parties
- Wednesday 11th December - Free Dress bring a gold coin donation
- Thursday 12th December - Excursion to Puffing Billy (arrive to school at 8.30am)
- Monday 16th December - reports published
- Thursday 19th December - student’s last day of school (1:30pm dismissal)
- Friday 20th December - Curriculum Day
