Sharyn is Leaving
It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that I will be leaving Wheelers Hill Primary School at the end of this year. I have been the OSHC Co-ordinator for the past 27 years and I will greatly miss the Wheelers Hill Primary School staff and community.
I have been so lucky to work with amazing children and families over those years and had opportunity’s to grow my knowledge of the OSHC sector. In 2025 I am moving to the Department of Education where I will be helping many schools that have school owned OSHC programs and have an impact on the wider OSHC sector.
Pete and Ruby who do a great job already will continue to run the program at the start of next year and a new co-ordinator will be employed early in Term 1.
My last day will be Friday 20th December and I know that our amazing OSHC community will support Ruby and Pete as they continue to provide the high quality programs we currently have.

- Curriculum Day Friday 6th December – 12 Days of Christmas
- January Vacation Care program – bookings open Monday 2nd for permanent OSHC Families and Monday 9th for community families and 2025 Prep Families.

Please make sure to hand in or email directly to the OSHC program.
Important Dates coming up in Term 4
OSHC Program Christmas Closing Dates
OSHC will be closed from Friday 20th December (last day of school) and will re-open Monday 6th January (for Vacation Care).
Booking forms Open Dates
December 6th Curriculum day - Bookings have opened
Jan Vacation Care - Bookings open Monday 2nd December
Re-enrolment and 2025 Enrolment forms – sent out 2nd December
2025 Prep families - Enrolment details will be emailed out Monday 2nd December
Invoice dates for the rest of this year
Monday 2nd December – with payments due Friday 6th December (for 18th Nov - 30th Nov – 2 weeks)
Monday 9th December – with payments due Friday 13th Dec (for 2nd Dec -20th Dec – 3 weeks)
Bookings and Cancellation for the last few weeks of Term 4
Please make sure to let the OSHC team know if you will be leaving before the end of the school term or if you will be picking up your children on the last day of the year at the end of school.
We will be running a program on the last day that will start at the earlier time that school finishes.
If you are absent for the last day of your 2024 booking you will be required to pay the full fee amount as your CCS deductions will be reversed early next year.
With invoices going out earlier for this period you may pay for days you don’t intend to use.
Talk to the OSHC team if you are not sure about your booking needs in December.
