Principal Address

Dear Families,

As Term 2 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you all, for your ongoing support, encouragement, and trust. It has been another big term, full of learning, fun, co-curricular opportunities, challenges and everything in between. The parent teacher nights reminded me of how thankful I am to have such strong partnerships between home and school! Thanks to all of you for braving the weather!

I also wanted to acknowledge the contributions of our staff, who have poured themselves into their roles this term. We are blessed to have the quality of staff that we do; who embody Christian character and who care deeply about your children.

I also wanted to take a moment to reflect on something I didn’t get to say last week, as reports went out -

Every one of your children is created uniquely and beautifully in the image of God. We want our students to strive for academic excellence, of course. However, it needs to be in the context of them growing in character, faith and love for others. That is the essence of Christian Education. Our report cards aim to reflect their learning and their character, but they can never fully capture the amazing gifts, passions, personalities, and abilities that each child carries. Your children are handcrafted by Jesus, what a truth to hold onto.

A few wonderful things to celebrate:

🎶 Band:huge congratulations to our Concert Band and Chapel Band for their incredible work this term! The Concert Band had their first performance on Monday and I was genuinely blown away by the quality of their playing. It was excellent, congratulations to all. Our chapel band have served faithfully, giving up their lunchtimes to practice songs so that we can worship together every Friday!

👶 Congratulations to Pastor Ethan and Stef!

We are thrilled to share the joyful news of the safe arrival of their son, Elliot. We praise God for the gift of life and continue to pray for rest, joy and health for their family in this precious season. Here is an adorable photo!

May God watch over you and your families and grant you rest, joy and refreshment in the school holidays. Look after one another, slow down where you can, and enjoy the precious gift of time together for those who have some time off work.

Looking forward to seeing you all again on Monday the 28th of July.

My door is always open,
