Teacher Taster

Experience what it feels like to be a participant of a Community of Inquiry.  As teachers we don't often get the chance to authentically express our beliefs (at least not in the classroom) so this is a chance to philosophise with your peers, enhance your skills to form a community and develop your critical thinking skills with each other.  

Each of our taster sessions will be held in a public venue and will explore big ideas in a selection of artefacts, such as a work of art at the National Gallery Victoria.

These teacher tasters will be facilitated by experience P4C and Community of Inquiry practitioners.  

2026 DATES:  

• March - Saturday 14th, 2pm - 3:30pm - Tickets ($10) available now.

   

• August - Sunday 16th, 2pm - 3:30pm

Location:  Both tasters will be held at the NGV - Australia, Federation Square.  Once registered you will receive further information about location.

These events are an opportunity to gain an understanding of what a P4C session looks like, ask a practitioner questions and explore the possibility of continuing and complete the VAPS Introduction to Community of Inquiry Course (offered twice in 2026 - go to Teacher Training 2026 page for more details).
