Under magnificent sunny skies once again on Tuesday, the Senior School attended SOPAC for the annual athletics carnival. Wednesday saw another wonderful day for the Junior School athletics carnival at the warm-up track at SOPAC.
Congratulations to all students for their enthusiastic participation throughout each day, and house spirit was truly evident in all events.
Events such as these cannot be held without the efforts of all staff: thank you to all staff for your hard work, enthusiasm and professionalism in running the carnivals.
For the senior school, the final tally saw Treacy House winners again on the day as they continue their domination of the athletics arena.

A fantastic way to start the July holiday break with 2, 3 and 4-day options.

About the Coerver Coaching Holiday Camp
Coerver Coaching holiday camps offer a fun filled soccer experience. Each day will include, ball mastery, 1v1 game moves and small-sided games.
There will also be a 5v5 tournament played throughout the camp!
These camps are the perfect way for the students to maintain their fitness levels and stay in touch with the game during their holiday break and come back in great shape for the second half of the football season.
We are also running a competition for one lucky player to win a brand new top of the line pair of Adidas boots! Any player who registers for a 4-day camp at any of our holiday clinics goes into the draw to win! The draw will take place on 18 July with the winner notified by email.

ISA Rugby Representatives
The College is pleased to announce we have had 8 students that have been selected in ISA rugby teams for 2025. These students will represent the ISA in 16s and 18s at the upcoming NSWSRU Trials from 26 and 29 June.
U/18s – Kobi Mendel, Charlie Woolf, James Patchett, Jack Brown and Nikolai Dimantha
U/16s – Anton Boulos, Bradley Newman and Xavier Davidson
Rugby State Championships
Congratulations to all the talented students from St Pius X College who represented their teams at the Rugby State Championships over the long weekend.
A special mention to Hunter Austin, who competed in the U14 State Championships for the Marlins, Archie Wragge (Marlins) and Archer Langbridge (Easts). In the U15 division, we acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Riley Atkinson (Marlins) for his strong performance. Also, Ben Fieldus (Gordon) won both Sydney cup and State cup.
Additionally, well done to the students who competed in the U16 championships - Xavier Davidson and Bradley Newman (Gordon) - who achieved an impressive 5th place overall.
Congratulations again to all participants!
