The boys embraced the first session with great energy and enthusiasm, and it was fantastic to see them so engaged as they began working toward their group performance for Week 9.
The Dance Program will continue to run alongside Winter Sport training over the coming weeks:
Week 7: Dance only (no sport due to Athletics)
Week 8: Dance + Sport
Week 9: Final rehearsals and performance showcase (Performance 10:40 am, Oxford Falls). Further details shared next week.
We’re excited to see the students continue to grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration each week!
Junior School Athletics Carnival
A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing parents who attended and supported yesterday’s Junior School Athletics Carnival. The success of the day simply wouldn’t have been possible without your generous time and encouragement. Thank you also goes to our Junior School staff who worked hard throughout the day to help make the day such a wonderful event for our students.
The boys ran, jumped, and threw at incredible levels across the day, with several event records now under review. It was a fantastic display of school spirit, athleticism, and teamwork.
Congratulations to Treacy House on taking home the Junior House Shield for 2025.
Information regarding the selection of the Junior Athletics Squad will be shared in the coming weeks.
Athletics training will commence in Term 3, full details to come. Please note that IPSHA have a high qualification standard so finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an event may not guarantee selection.
Supporter's Gear: Don't forget, there’s a great range of SPX Supporters’ Gear available at the Oxford Falls canteen every Saturday, including hats, scarves, beanies, and jackets, perfect for these cooler mornings!
