What's Happening at CHPS

End of Term PJ Day
Cadbury Fundraiser
We’re excited to launch our 2025 Cadbury Chocolate Fundraising Drive – a fun and delicious way to support our school community!
Each box sold helps raise $20 for CHPS, directly funding programs and resources that enrich every student’s experience. It’s a simple way to make a big impact – and we’d love your help!
How to Get Involved
Complete the short participation google form (Click here) by Friday 27 June.
Here’s how you can help:
- ✅ Want to participate? Awesome! Let us know how many boxes you’d like to sell.
- 💵 Prefer to donate instead? No worries – a $20 donation is just as appreciated.
- ❌ Not participating? Please let us know in for the form so we can plan accordingly.
📦 Each box contains 40 treats at $1.50 each – that’s $60 per box, with $20 going straight to CHPS!
Boxes will be delivered to classrooms on Wednesday 2 July, labelled with the eldest child's name, along with a thank you letter. Compass events will be created for those taking home boxes and also families who are donating $20.
Thank you for supporting this major event – your involvement makes a real difference. Let’s make this fundraiser a sweet success for our school! 🍬

🌟 Sayembara Lisan Indonesian Speaking Competition 🌟
On Saturday 14th June, six talented students from Years 2–6 proudly represented CHPS in the Sayembara Lisan Indonesian Speaking Competition, competing against schools from across Victoria.
Our students showcased their Indonesian language skills with confidence and enthusiasm. Year 2 students performed a song, Years 3 and 4 recited poems, while Years 5 and 6 took part in general conversation and a role play about fruit — all entirely in Indonesian!
A huge congratulations to all participants for reaching the State Finals held at Melbourne High School. We are thrilled to announce the following outstanding results:

*** LOST PROPERTY ***
The colder weather has seen a spike in lost clothing and other items that are not named or unclear.
As shown in the attached pictures some names are either of past students, hand me downs or are not clearly labelled. We would love every week to be able to return EVERY item back to its family/student.
As it is nearly the end of second Term, we would like to ask all parents to:
Please check that all school uniforms, hats, drink bottles, lunch containers, sports items etc for your children are clearly labelled with your child’s SURNAME and first name/initial.
Check the lost property cupboard for any missing items owned by your child - The lost property cupboard is located at the end of the corridor near the main office or accessed via the corridor between the junior and senior school.
As we are unable to hold so many items in the lost property cupboard, at the end of every term we have to sell off all unclaimed school items for a Gold coin donation to the school and donate all non-branded items to charity.
On Monday 30th June from 3pm till Friday 4th June 9.30am we will be placing all items for sale outside the front office for families to donate a gold coin donation per item.
If you have any queries, please reach out to myself or Fiona.
Thank you
Fiona & Meagan
